I don’t know about you, but if you have a young child in your house…I am sure you can relate. I have a son, who just can’t sit still. Doesn’t matter what he is doing. He can be watching t.v., playing a game (board or PlayStation), doing homework, eating, ect. You catch my drift. HE JUST CAN”T SIT STILL. He makes me exhausted just watching him.
Well, one morning about two weeks ago, I thought I would use my photographic skills and do some lifestyle images of my son watching a dinosaur show on Saturday morning while eating his breakfast. I’m not a lifestyle photographer by trade (I specialize in newborn photography), but it’s these moments that I don’t want to forget. My child being real, being himself. Don’t get me wrong, I love the smiles just as much as any other parent, but I also am an avid lover of just the simple expressions one can give. The images I am posting of my son took place within a two minute spand. He was constantly moving and changing positions, and at the end of this time spand I was able to get a couple of him looking at me.
I love this little boy with all my heart. He may gives us daily challenges, but I would not change anything about him. For that is who he is.
