Two Fun Little Boys

Oh my…finally getting around to posting some fun and cute images of two outgoing little boys.  These two were so much fun to photograph.  I always get a little nervous photographing boys, because if they are anything like my little man…I get my work cut out for me.  LOL!  But, nope!  Not with these two.  Bryson and Rylan were very fun, outgoing and had twinkles in their eyes.  So, this by far was one of my easiest sessions I had with two boys EVER!

Check out their cuteness 🙂

Thank you to their wonderful parents for choosing Angi Randall Photography and thank you to all of you who stop by to check out blog & portrait work.  God Bless.

Kristy’s Sneak Peek | Maternity

I can not say how much fun I had photographing Kristy during her maternity session, it was just that much fun.  WOW…such a vibrant person she is.  I am so excited to show her all of her images, but here is one of my many favorites that I captured during her session.

Hope you enjoy this image as much as I do 🙂

Charles | Five Days New

Meet Charles…he is five days new and beautiful.  I have to say though he was being a little bit stubborn for me.  He just didn’t want to keep his beautiful hands under his cheek, and he decided he wanted to be awake for some of his session.  No problem.  However, I did win and got some of those cute sleepy images too!  Just how I like it 🙂

Isn’t he just adorable?  LOVE!

Before and After Hammock Baby

Today I am posting a before and after image of a baby in a hammock.  I just want EVERYONE to know that I always take every precaution I can to ensure EVERY baby is safe while in my studio.  I also do not do this pose very often.  The only time I do this pose is when a parent tells me they would like this during their newborn’s portrait session and if it is okay to do so.  Of course I am going to please my clients, but I also tell them it may not work if baby isn’t in a very sleepy state.  I will definitely NOT do this pose if baby is awake because they tend to jerk their arms and legs when awake.  And, I will always have hands on the baby at all time.  I do a lot of prep to make sure everything is in place and I take about five images for each composite.  Mainly to make sure I get hands in all different places so I can piece it together.  I am only showing one of the images with the final image to show that I will never leave a baby hanging on its own because that is SO, SO dangerous and very irresponsible.

So, if anyone out there is thinking about doing this type of pose, make sure your photographer ALWAYS puts your baby’s safety FIRST and takes every step to ensure there will be no harm done during the session.  Also be sure to ask those questions to see how they will handle a specific pose to make sure.  Do your homework.   You want your baby to be safe during the whole session.  And, to anyone who is thinking of having me photograph your precious baby…you can guarantee that I will ALWAYS put your newborn’s safety first.  This is what I love to do and wouldn’t do it any other way 🙂

I hope this put things into perspective of what a PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHER will do for you and you newborn.  Have a Happy and Safe Monday.

A Handsome Little Man | Newborn Photography

I can not even begin to tell you how handsome this little man is.  He was such good baby to work with.  He slept like a champ and only woke to feed once.  This little man has an older brother that I had the pleasure of photographing when he was younger, so I was very excited to photograph Grayson.    I have to say thank you to Christy for trusting me again with those important little details that I love to capture.

Here you go…meet Grayson at 6 days new 🙂

Let It Snow | Angi Randall Photography

It all started with a vision.  This past weekend I spent some time crocheting a little snowman hat and cocoon set.  I was already thinking about how I was going to photograph an upcoming newborn that was born last week and was coming in the studio today for his newborn session.  I was so excited beyond belief, you have no idea.

Then, I have to  say that my original vision for the session was starting to look pretty bleak.  Why?  Well, he had just peed on the only blue blanket that I had and was going to use for this snowman vision of mine.  I was a little bummed, but  I just went on to the next set up I had for him.  Thinking…no biggie.  Well, I then remembered that I had just used a blue paper background for a hammock like scene and a light bulb went off.  So, while I was photographing this little handsome man infront of me, I had my assistant grab the fake snow blanket that I was going to sell, but decided not to (thank goodness), and lay out my blue paper backdrop and my NEW vision for my snowman prop was coming back to life.  I was now excited all over again.  I am funny that way.  And, I must say it turned out absolutely AMAZING.

Check it out for yourself.

Now, isn’t he just the most handsome snowman you have ever seen?
