About six months ago I decided that I was going to start selling the newborn props that I had been making for my studio. So, YarnBabies Boutique & Design Shoppe was born. I had self taught myself how to crochet about a year ago. I did crochet a little bit when I was a child, but never went far with it. Then when I started specializing in newborn photography and spending a ton of money in props, because honestly I am a propaholic, I knew I had to do something to save some money. So, I thought I would save myself some money by crocheting all my props since I don’t like using the same props all the time. I have saved money somewhat, but I haven’t really saved any money. LOL. I now spend money on yarn (a lot of yarn), and not just yarn you buy in retail stores. But, I alos buy a lot of OOAK (One Of A Kind) yarn too! I love different kinds of yarn and different textures. Let me tell you I have a collection of props sitting in my prop closet just sitting there. It is a crazy obsession I have with props.
So, anyway…I now crochet all my own newborn props and I have now opened a shop on Etsy. Here are some of the fun creations I have made and that a person will find in my shop. As I stated that I crochet newborn props, I also make other sizes upon request. Take a look for yourself. If you like what you see…GREAT… come join me on Facebook to keep up with the latest sales and auctions I hold just for Facebook Fans.
