Miss Hazel came to me at 7 days old and she was such was such a sweet little angel. She slept just about the whole time she was here. She woke just a bit to get her belly full and went straight back to sleep. She did fuss though when I went to do the hands under the chin shot, so she did not want to be bent forward…her litttl tummy was hard as a rock, so I can understand why she didn’t want to be in that position. So, I just skipped that and went right into the next position I had for her. I loved that I was able to use a new hat that I had receive as well.
I am so excited that I get to watch this little angel grow up. I love watching their little personalities evolve and to see them change. It is a blessing. Photographing babies is like candy to me…I want more 🙂
First off, I have to say I LOVE this little baby girl!! She is by far the most bubbly and happy baby that I have ever met. Truly, I do not think she get cranky EVER!!
I have been photographing this little girl since she was a newborn and she was amazing then. And, every time she comes in to be photographed…she gives me some of the biggest smiles I have ever seen. Just a soft coo or a quiet peek-a-boo just lights up her face. Also, her daddy makes some of the neatest noices that get her going! Gosh, do I love her. Her parents truly are blessed with such a wonderful little girl. If I were to have another baby, I would want one just like her 🙂
Anyway…I could wait to share some of my favorite images from her session. I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do. This was one of the most fun sessions I did recently. God Bless.
I had the pleasure to photograph Alison and Jake. They came in for a maternity session and Alison was pushing 36 weeks when she came in. She had the cutest baby bump and I was kinda jealous that she really wasn’t all that big. You couldn’t even tell that she was pregnant from the back. Although, that is what people used to tell me, but I felt HUGE.
Anyway…Alison is certainly a beautiful mama to be with the cutest baby bump. The two were so lively and fun to work with that I am very excited to see their little one grow up. I have predicted that they are going to have a girl. They have no idea what they are having, but I kept calling the baby a girl the whole time I was photographing them. So, we will see…
Enjoy the images from their session.
This little guy was just a chillin’ and taking it all in, looking around and making sure his mama didn’t go to far. Breckan is a very laid back little boy, but let me tell you when you tickle his sides…he just roars with laughter. He is such a cute little guy and is already getting so big being nine months old already. Time just seems to fly by.
I had a wonderful time photographing the McNaughten Family. The McNaughten’s came in to do a maternity session and they are excited to bring in their fourth child into the world. There are three girls already and guess what they are having?? If you guessed another girl, you are so right. Four girls…WOW! I can so relate. I have four sisters myself. My poor dad…lol
It’s all good.
Well, here are a few images from their session.
Well, well, well. It has been busy last month with some construction going on at the studio. My studio used to be a double long garage and now is going to be completely, souly a studio. Since we moved into our house three years ago, my office has been in my house while my camera room was in the back half of the double-long garage. I did use the front part for all my props, but everyone was using it.
Through the last two years, little ones have been growing and becoming very active and curious. So, it is time to move my office out of my house. Which is fine with me, because I get tired of having to clean my house all the time and then to have my kids make a mess before clients come. My kids and my husband also like to lounge in the pj’s when they get home from work. So, I am trying to save myself some of the embarassment…lol
It will be good to be out there, because it will make it so much easier to manage my time with work and my family. It will be no more editing while the kids are watching tv or whatever excuse I come up with. I will now have time to spend with my family once I leave the office. It is a good thing, and it is definitely needed. My kids are growing up way to fast and I have been missing it.
So, with new beginnings about to happen (which includes my sister working part time for me), I have to share some images of the progress. I can’t wait until it is completely done and ready to enjoy 🙂
