Mother’s Day is May 9th…Come celebrate with Mommy and Me Portraits
What a great way to capture the love between you and your child(ren).
I had such a good time photographing Singying. Singying brought in her boys this past January and told me that she wanted to have photographs taken of just her when it warmed up, because she wanted to have photographs taken outside. I was all for that, because even though I live in Wisconsin…I am not a fan of cold weather!
So, it is the middle of April and the weather is warming up and the buds on the trees are starting to bud into new leaves. I took Singying to an open field with a small strip of weathered fence, and then we went to Big Falls. It was a bit cloudy out, and now and then it would sprinkle on us. It was warm out, so it was all good. She was so funny. She would start posing and then she would stop and ask, “What you want me to do?”, and then giggle. You could tell she must have been practicing in the mirror, because there were moments where she would go town without much direction. It was fun. It is nice when people aren’t afraid of the camera 🙂
So, here are a few images from Singying’s session.
Here is Mister “H”. He is a happy one year old little man. I just can’t believe how fast his first year went. Totally crazy. He loves to clap his hands, wave buh-bye and play with all his tractors. He even gets to ride a big tractor with his mama and daddy.
“H” is such a vibrant, outgoing little man with a casual being to him…not to mention that he is so stinkin’ handsome 🙂 I absolutely loved watching this little guy grow into a little person.
Thank you to “H’s” parents for letting me be apart of there lives!! God Bless.
Meet Brittany. She attends McDonnell High in Chippewa Falls. Brittany is a fun, vibrant teenager. She is a smiler (I know this because it was difficult for her to keep a serious face in some of her images) and she loves to have a good time with her friends. And, I think Brittany girl is super sweet 🙂
Brittany was the first person to have her images made in front of my very first abstract canvas backdrop (typically I use muslin). So, this is very exciting for me, and I love the results of my new canvas!! Thanks Brittany 🙂 You ROCK!!
